About this map:

This map shows theoretical drainage paths in southern Guam. It thus includes actual streams and rivers as well as storm runoff paths and temporary flow predicted to occur in topographic lows during high rainfall episodes. This GIS data layer was generated from Digital Elevation Model (DEM) of Guam by means of hydrologic analysis techniques. It was created by the Water and Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific specifically for the purposes of this on-line atlas.
