About this map:

This map shows the distribution of various types of soils in southern Guam in a simplified fashion. The data used to make this map were developed by Fred Young and Sakau Nakamura from US Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service (USDA-SCS, 1985), and was simplified by grouping different soil types into major categories.
