About this map:

This map shows the distribution of volcanic soils in southern Guam. The data used to make this map were developed by Fred Young and Sakau Nakamura from US Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service (USDA-SCS, 1985), and was highly simplified to show only soil types derived from volcanic parent material.
